has it moved to Plumstead Common and if not what is with the ridiculous amount of coaches that frequent the Common by The Old Mill in the evenings?? Where do all these foreign school children go and who are the very clever parents/guardians who insist on parking on both sides of the road or on occasions in the middle?? Clever people. So many unanswered Plumstead questions... Also has anyone else noticed how The Ship seems to have a private party every Saturday night?

A lot of people, provide accommodation for foreign students on holiday over here as a bit of extra money, the kids are out all day, so they get picked up in the evening, been going on for years, apparently you can't get the French kids in the bathroom (allegedly)

They are exchange students. Local residents can earn money by putting them up (provision of bed, breakfast, dinner and packed lunch + transport to and from coach or train stop. Certain vehicles are not supposed to park overnight in residential streets (although in recent years this regulation has, largely, been ignored). This is why there are coaches and large vans parked in that part of Old Mill Road that is bounded by the Common on both sides.
On the second part of the orignal question by mrsdp: I hadn't noticed the private parties on Saturdays (although not surprised). I had noticed, though, the cheapo drinks banners - which are in contravention of both Mr Busta's licence application and the Council's provisos.
