Anyone know any good rubbish removals? I have an iron bath that has been in the back garden since I moved in (last owners' bath). I'm really anxious to get rid of it.

Phone up Cleansweep - they are the refuse contractors for Greenwich council. You'll have to send them a cheque for a small sum, then they will come and pick it up from your front yard. Details are on the Greenwich council website

I tried Cleansweep - they refuse to take items such as baths.

Try a skip company- there's a list of approved skip companies on the greenwich council website. I used one to get rid of the carpets in our house. It was a pretty big skip and cost £176 for two weeks, so if you've got other things you want to chuck out, it may be worth doing.....
