Does anybody have any idea what on earth was/is playing the incessant beats in the area at 5am? I woke up at 4:30 to hear a dull beat and thought it must be a neighbour but it soon became clear that it's nowhere near me but I can hear/feel the bass oh yes. Every so often a waft of MC'ing comes over on the breeze. It's a professional system somewhere, it must be terrible for people closer than me!
Sigh.

oh and I could hear all this from the middle of Flaxton Road.
oh and the time on this forum is wrong, it says I posted that last night when it was actually 5am this morning. Says it's currently 4:06 as well.

Yeah, I heard it too, started around 3 am this morning and was still going on at 4.30 am at least. Sounded like it was a car since it seemed to fade and swell as if being driven around. Must have been bleeding loud 'cos I'm in Parkdale Road!

I was wondering what that bloody racket was too! I was woken 2 nights in a row - the same tracks were being played in the early hours of Sunday morning! Got the feeling it was an outdoor thing. Gits!

I heard that too. A friend said it was the pounding of giant metal footings around the river side area. It was so loud I couldn't detect where it came from. This went on for nights and was only slightly eclipsed by mangy fox activity in and out of our yards - still a real nuisance.
