It would be great to direct more traffic towards this forum and Plumstead blogs to get other residents views on what's good/what's not around the area and top tips
What about any flyers in the Co-op or other local areas or handing out some flyers at the train station to let people know about this fabulous forum?
My Plumstead questions and toptips
1. ask the coffee man for a Metro in the morning if there are none in the Metro stand holder, he always has some under his counter on the platform!
2. We have struggled to find a painter and electrician anyone know any good ones?
3. Top takeaway tip - Singwah chinese
4. We know a gardener who does garden clearance - not cheap but great job, he lives in Clapham
5. My favourite local store is Roys Garden shop and he does the best value sheds and erects them.
6. The carpet shop people down by Charlton (that little highway on the way to Sainsbrurys) were really helpful (the one that has balloons and a big pink sign saying free fitting over £250) and they have a good selection. Far friendlier than the chaps in Allied and Carpet Right.
